NOTA respects the privacy of its members and uses the information supplied for the sole purpose of promoting their translation and interpreting services to potential clients. We do not collect or store demographic or profile data.

NOTA takes precautions to secure all information provided by its members and to prevent the loss, alteration, or misuse of this information. While NOTA has in place policies for upgrades, backups and security checks, it cannot guarantee against interruptions of service. NOTA may not be held liable for any loss of business resulting from an interruption of services.

NOTA does not sell, rent or distribute our members’ personal information to any third party. Similarly, no member or third party may sell, rent or distribute members’ personal information (including, but not limited to names, addresses, telephone or fax numbers and email addresses) to any other party.

NOTA does not solicit or accept advertising on its website.

NOTA is not liable for content found on any web sites that are linked from ours.

NOTA will never contact members personally to sell products or services or to request any information whatsoever from its members.

What About Cookies?

Cookies are alphanumeric identifiers that we transfer to your computer's hard drive through your web browser to enable our application to recognize your browser and to provide an automated login into the system. We do NOT use cookies or any other technology to track visitors’ interaction with our site. Regarding our members, we only create a cookie if the member chooses to do so to make it easier to log into the system.

The Help portion of the toolbar on most browsers will tell you how to prevent your browser from accepting new cookies, how to have the browser notify you when you receive a new cookie, or how to disable cookies altogether.
